Simple Spring Mini Session Details
Hello! and Happy Spring!
I want to thank you for signing up for a Simple Spring Mini Session! Before our session, please fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of this page so I can better gauge your expectations, ideas, and goals for child’s session. Preparation and communication are the keys to a successful photoshoot, so make sure to share all your ideas and concerns with me on your questionnaire! As we prepare for your session, here is some information about what to expect:
Location and Timing
The mini session well be held at my home located at 112 Lemont Avenue, Corinth NY. See map to the right. Click “view larger map” for a link to google maps where you can get driving directions. When you arrive, please park on the street near my house. Shoot me a text at (585) 506-7173 to let me know you have arrive.
As these are short sessions and may run back to back with others, please arrive on time with you and/or you little ones already dressed and ready to photo.
*NOTE: Please bring the shoes that you choose to have your child wear for the session to change into once inside. March is a time of muddy puddles and we will be working on flooring/material that can easily get soiled.
COVID Precautions
Due to COVID, please have everyone wear a facemask upon entering the house. I will wear one on as well for the whole session. Once we get starting with the photoshoot, I will ask you to remove your masks so we can see and document those happy faces. Between each session, I will be sanitizing the wood flooring, props, and stools/seats utilized in a previous session. If at anytime during the session you feel uncomfortable, please speak up and let me know and I will do everything I can do resolve the issue.
Backdrops and Props
I’ll be offering three backdrop setup for this session: A cream fabric that serves as the backdrop and flooring, a white wood wall with dark wood flooring, and a gray wall with dark wood flooring. Please indicate which you’d like for your setup in the Questionnaire below. The same set of props will be used for both setups and can be moved around/setup to your pleasing. I even have some bunny ears you can use if you want an Easter vibe!

Session Tips with Kids
Get your kids excited for the session and let them know how much fun it will be, but no need to over prepare them or add too much pressure for "best behavior"
I’ll have some bubbles and other attention grabbing items to play around with. If there is something you have something that you do (ex.) a funny voice, an inside joke, etc.) bring it! This will help get those natural smiles out!
If your child becomes restless at any point during the session please know that it's not uncommon for me to set down my camera and play with your child for a few minutes. This gives your child a break and helps them trust that I have their best interest in mind.
Our best behaved children are usually those that are well fed before our session. For babies, make sure they are fed prior to the session. Feel free to bring treats to reward good behavior at the end of our session!
Payment
Session fee of $80 is due prior to or at your session and can be paid by cash, check or Venmo.
After the Session
Once your session is over you'll receive a digital gallery with images from the within 2-3 weeks. From the gallery, you'll be able to choose your 6 images to download and select additional images for purchase, if you so choose.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire below so that I can better gauge the feel for you session and photos. Questions with an * are required, while others you can choose to fill out if applicable. Once your answers are submitted, I’ll be sending you a contract for your review and signature prior to your session. Contract must be signed and submitted prior to the date of your session.
