
Cap & Gown Mini Session Details
Hello! and Congratulations!
I want to thank you for signing up for my Cap & Gown Mini Session! All you hard work is done and now it’s time to celebrate (wahoo party!!!) and I’m super excited to capture these special memories for you!
Before our session, please fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of this page so I can better gauge your expectations, ideas, and goals for your session and get to know the graduate a little better before the shoot. Preparation and communication are the keys to a successful photoshoot, so make sure to share all your ideas and concerns with me on your questionnaire. If you would like to share some example photos, a Pinterest board, and/or poses you like, feel free to email that information to me prior to the session at hollycapassophotography@gmail.com.
As we prepare for your session, here is some information about what to expect:
Location and Timing
The mini sessions well be held at Congress Park, located at 268 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY. See map to the right. Click “view larger map” for a link to google maps where you can get driving directions. Parking is available in the garage or lot just north of the park. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow yourself some time for parking. I will be meeting everyone at the carousal at the north end of the park. Shoot me a text at (585) 506-7173 to let me know you have arrive.
We can utilize any portion of the park that you’d like and that are available to us at the time of the shoot. I’ll be asking some questions in the questionnaire below to get your ideal shot location within the park.
As these are short sessions and may run back to back with others, please arrive on time to go. If you’d like to arrive early and hang out in or explore the park prior to your session, please feel free to do so!
COVID Precautions
Per new state COVID regulations, please bring a mask to have handy if you are unvaccinated. Most of the session can be shot at a distance greater than 6 feet so we shouldn’t have to worry. If at anytime during the session you feel uncomfortable, please speak up and let me know and I will do everything I can do resolve the issue.
Session Tips & Other Details
For the ladies, if you are wearing heels, please bring an extra pair of comfortable shoes to walk around in as we will be moving (quickly!) throughout the park.
Feel free to bring some smaller props that you’d like to shoot with (ex. class ring, varsity jacket, diploma (if you have it already!), etc.)
This session can be shot solo or with some friends. If parents/grandparents/guardians or if a sibling(s) want to join in a shot or two, they are more than welcomed too. I just ask that you keep the photo session to a 4-5 person limit.
Don’t forget to bring your Cap & Gown!!
As we will be in a public park, please do not bring any confetti shooters or smoke bombs for the session.
Payment
After receiving your questionnaire, I will send you the session contract and invoice via e-mail. The session fee of $85 and signed contract are due prior to or at your session. Additional images can be purchased for $10 per image or $85 for the entire rest of the gallery. All session fees and additional photo can be paid by cash, check, Venmo or a credit card.
After the Session
Once your session is over you'll receive a digital gallery with edited images from the within 2-4 weeks. From the gallery, you'll be able to choose your 8 images to download and select additional images for purchase, if you so choose.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire below so that I can better gauge the feel for you session and photos. Questions with an * are required, while others you can choose to fill out if applicable. Once your answers are submitted, I’ll be sending you a contract for your review and signature prior to your session. Contract must be signed and submitted prior to the date of your session.
