B&W Expressions Mini Session Details
Hello Friends!
I want to thank you for signing up for my B&W Expressions Mini Session! This mini session idea came to me as I was actually making my own family portrait project at home. I wanted update our walls with portraits that were super simple and all similar in nature that reflected my family’s personality. It was actually super fun shooting these photos of my family because it allowed them to be their silly selves, resulting in a lot of laughter!
Before our session, please fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of this page so I can better gauge your expectations, ideas, and goals for your session and get to know you and your family/group a little better before the shoot. Preparation and communication are the keys to a successful photoshoot, so make sure to share all your ideas and concerns with me on your questionnaire! If you would like to share some example photos, a Pinterest board, and/or poses you like, feel free to email that information to me prior to the session at hollycapassophotography@gmail.com.
As we prepare for your session, here is some information about what to expect:
Location
The mini session well be held at my home studio at 112 Lemont Avenue, Corinth NY on Saturday, February 26, 2022 with multiple times throughout the day. Click “directions” on the adjacent map and input your start location for directions to my home. Please park on the side of the road when you arrive.
As these are short sessions and may run back to back with others, please arrive on time with you and your family/group ready to photo.
Session Tips and Details
These photos are great to print out and put up in your home to show off the individually of your family! I am also able make a digital photo collage of your photos, such as a row or column of 3 or a square/rectangle of 4 or more, if you want to show off multiple expressions of your subject. Digital college can be purchased separately after you view/select your photos from your gallery.
This session can be used for your kiddos or the whole family if you’d like! Want to bring your pet since they are too part of the family? Sure! Just make sure you note it in the questionnaire below and I can accommodate.
I have both black and white backdrops to use. The ones uses on the sample photos was with the black backdrop. The whiter backdrop will give a more lighter, brighter feel. The black backdrop will give a more darker., moodier feel. We can use both at your session if you’d like a few of each.
Each session with be 25 minutes long and we will try to get as many expressions of out of each subject in that time!
All photos will be provided in black and white format. Digital color versions can be purchased separately, if requested.
You will get a choice of 8 photos to choose from. Additional images (including custom collages) can be purchased for $10 each. Full gallery of images (typically 20 images) can be purchase for $60.
Payment
After receiving your questionnaire, I will send you the session contract and invoice via e-mail. The session fee of $80 and signed contract are due prior to or at your session. All session fees can be paid by cash, check, Venmo or a credit card. Additional digital images/collages/gallery and professional lab prints can be purchased through your gallery via debit/credit card.
After the Session
Once your session is over you'll receive a digital gallery with edited images from the within 2-4 weeks. From the gallery, you'll be able to choose your 8 images to download and select additional images for purchase, if you so choose.

Questions with an * are required, while others you can choose to fill out if applicable. Once your answers are submitted, I’ll be sending you a contract for your review and signature prior to your session. Contract must be signed and submitted prior to the date of your session.
